A Conversation with Our Cousin Awd, January 11, 2015

Jan 26, 2015 by The Film and Festival Express

Have a listen as Cousin Awd and FFExpress host Courtney Harrop have a catch up (kind of like a coffee Break) and Cousin Awd breaks down the Evening of Film, Conversation and Music event coming up on January 31st:

Local Musician Larry Hanson, Nanaimo based musicians Willie Thrasher and Linda Saddleback, actor Eric Wilson, voice of APTN’s new First Nations superhero cartoon, Kagagi, and Kevin “Sipreano” Howes, the curator of the hit collection Native North America (Vol. 1): Aboriginal Folk, Rock, and Country 1966-1985, will engage in the courageous conversation considering why the art of First Nations People were not supported in Media historically and what has changed today - if anything.

Reserve your seat by phoning 604-485-0088.
Admission by Donation to the Artists.

January 31st, 7-9pm at the Tla'Amin Salish Center
